Juicy Zone Store
My official e-commerce art store, Juicy Zone is dedicated to my fans with high-quality colorful products, from traditional to digital, memberships, benefits, a secret club, and a newsletter. One of my longest projects in progress since WordPress and Woocommerce face constant challenges and improvements, and having an e-commerce store is about continuous maintenance and updates.
Origins
Remember that I mentioned my old name, Juicy Zone, in my TGS Branding? Well, I decided not to give up on it and also introduce my old pixel art into the coding. I first started using Storenvy platform, and it was great, but needed more features with plugins, and flexibility in codings. After research, I learned WooCommerce was a great option to start. It took me 3 months to have the website running after learning for the first time WooCommerce plugin.
Dynamic Pages
To break the monotony, I decided to create different pages with special content or functions, such as the login and access denied page for the secret club. Some of these pages contain complex animations with the purpose to engage with the clients.
Juicy Zone is my official art store that also contains a secret club called “Mi Cielas Club” for long-term loyal fans that can enjoy perks, and benefits and buy exclusive products not available to the public. The objective of the store, besides selling, is to create a long term with the client and make them feel connected to my brand emotionally. Where they can have an intimate space with me and, at times, be part of the process of my work. It is targeted to fans (communities), and people who enjoy colorful stuff and can appreciate the NSFW from an asexual perspective. The solution is to create pieces that people can relate to based on personal or professional experience. The previous problem stemmed from selling fan art and people only depending on that type of artwork, while I felt I was lacking identity and ownership.
